Islam
and Middle Eastern Culture Seminar
This seminar in Amman, Jordan, funded by the U.S. State Department, is
designed specifically for independent college and university professors
who are not experts in Islam or Middle Eastern culture and who are developing
courses, or adapting existing courses, in order to give more attention
to these fields. This is an excellent opportunity for full-time faculty
members in all fields at CIC member institutions to learn more about the
Middle East at a time when knowledge and teaching about the region are
more important than ever.
