Robert Powers

Robert Powers joined CIC as director of finance in 2020, after serving as an independent contractor managing CIC’s accounting and human resources activities. Previously, Powers was the business manager of the Alexandria Country Day School, the director of finance for the Ford’s Theatre Society, and controller for Maret School. He currently serves on the board of the Westchester Corporation and has served on the finance committee of the board of trustees of the Association of Independent Schools of Greater Washington (AISGW). Powers earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Mississippi and did graduate studies in education at the University of Virginia Curry School of Education.
