Marilyn Sutton-Haywood

​Marilyn Sutton-Haywood most recently served as interim vice president for academic affairs at Mitchell College and dean of arts and sciences at Pfeiffer University. Earlier, she served as a faculty member and vice president for academic affairs at Shaw University, Bethune-Cookman University, and Johnson C. Smith University. She has had 42 years of higher education experience in public and private institutions, including 19 years in executive leadership. Sutton-Haywood has strong interests in faculty development and academic leadership and served on the board of the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education in support of academic leadership.
