Mary Van Brunt

​Mary Van Brunt is provost and vice president for academic affairs at Gwynedd Mercy University. As provost, she collaboratively led a university-wide prioritization and restructuring project through its successful implementation in the 2020–2021 academic year. An economist with concentrations in public and international finance, Van Brunt previously served as founding dean of the school of business, arts, and media at Cabrini University. Prior to entering higher education as a Cabrini faculty member in 2001, she spent more than a decade in the business world as an accountant, banking officer, and assistant vice president.
