A Christian university in the Anabaptist tradition, Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) offers a comprehensive university education within a dynamic and diverse community. Exemplary academic studies across the arts and sciences are distinguished by interdisciplinary interaction, experiential learning, and mentoring relationships between students and faculty. CMU is the only university in Canada where undergraduates are required to complete a work-integrated learning placement to make connections between academic learning and skill development.

International Programs
- Estamos Study Abroad program – At the heart of CMU’s Estamos program is a desire for students to discover who they are, who we are, and how they have been shaped through relationships with others. Estamos provides students a unique opportunity to ask these questions through an immersive, educational, and intercultural experience.
- Bridge Transition Program – CMU is proud to present the Bridge Transition Program, which offers comprehensive support for all new undergraduate international students transitioning to Canada. Designed with international student success at its heart, the Bridge Transition Program meets the needs of international students throughout their first semester in Canada.
- International Practicum Placements – Practicum or work-integrated learning has been a part of the fabric of CMU since CMU became a university. The Practicum program grows out of the vision of institutional founders, that students both gain academic knowledge and find ways to connect this knowledge practically in the world.
