CIC is pleased to introduce staff members who have joined the organization over the past few months. They will work on a variety of programs and initiatives to serve member institutions.

Mame Bineta Barry
Manager of Accounting and Finance
Bineta Barry joined CIC in 2025 and is the manager of accounting and finance. In this role, she oversees financial operations and reporting, supports compliance and audit processes, and contributes to the stewardship of CIC’s financial resources. Prior to joining CIC, she served as a staff accountant at the National Park Foundation and brings over eight years of accounting experience. A native of Senegal, Barry received a BBA in Finance from the George Washington University (DC).

Abigail Dean
Projects Coordinator
Abigail Dean joined CIC in 2025 as the projects coordinator. In this role, she is responsible for supporting the Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE) and academic programs with CIC. Before joining CIC, Dean worked at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) with the Middle East & North Africa team. At CIPE, she managed administrative logistics and supported the implementation of programs related to membership associations, economic diversity, and democratic engagement in the MENA region. Dean received a bachelor’s degree in 2023 from Seattle University (WA), with a major in international studies and a double minor in Arabic and philosophy.

Alicia Jackson
Membership Services and Tuition Exchange Program Manager
Alicia Jackson joined CIC in 2025 and is the membership services and tuition exchange program manager. In this role, she is primarily responsible for operationalizing CIC’s membership engagement strategy, the administration of CIC’s membership billing processes, and maintaining the member database. She also oversees the Tuition Exchange Program. Before joining CIC, Jackson served as the membership and finance lead at the US Geospatial Intelligence Foundation and the membership manager at Meals on Wheels America, where she focused on managing the organizational budget, increasing membership, maintaining membership recruitment, database administration, and coordinating event logistics. Jackson has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia, a graduate certificate in nonprofit management from Marymount University (VA), and an MBA from Fayetteville State University (NC).
