Sherita C. Ashmon

Sherita C. Ashmon joined CIC in 2010 and is the director of State Council programs and networks support. She serves as the primary CIC liaison to State Council members and provides leadership and support to the core services offered by the State Council program. Before joining CIC, Sherita served as membership coordinator for the Community Technology Centers’ Network and as operations and membership manager for the Neighborhood Funders Group. Ashmon received a BA in communications from Delaware State University and an MS in management with a concentration in organizational leadership from Wilmington University (DE). She initially started at CIC as a conference and program coordinator at CIC and was promoted to conference manager before being promoted again to her current position.
