Allison Barkley

Allison Barkley joined CIC in 2022 and is the communication operations specialist. In this role, she drafts, edits, and manages correspondence, reports and newsletters, social media and website posts, and other communications on behalf of CIC. Before joining CIC, Barkley worked as a development coordinator in the Office of Principal Gifts at Johns Hopkins University, where she was responsible for reporting and stewardship for major donors. Prior to her work at Johns Hopkins, she worked as a teacher at a French immersion school in Maryland. Barkley received a BA from American University (DC) with a major in elementary education and a minor in French language studies. Barkley was originally hired as CIC’s editorial content specialist before being promoted.
