Christon G. Arthur

Christon G. Arthur is president at La Sierra University (CA). Prior to his presidency, he served as provost and chief academic officer at Andrews University (MI). His professional experience includes serving as dean of the school of graduate studies and research at Andrews and as professor of educational administration and associate dean of the college of education at Tennessee State University. Arthur received the Faculty of the Year award at Tennessee State University for 2004–2005. He also served as a fellow of the Organization of American States in 1996 and again in 1998–2000. Arthur served as chair of the CIC Chief Academic Officers Task Force.
