John MacIntosh is managing partner of SeaChange Capital Partners, a nonprofit that provides grants, loans, analysis, and advice to help nonprofits work through complex challenges. In the higher education sector, SeaChange manages the Transformational Partnership Fund (TPF), which supports colleges and universities interested in exploring partnerships that could fundamentally improve how they operate and serve students. Prior to joining SeaChange in 2008, MacIntosh was a partner at global private equity firm Warburg Pincus. Earlier in his career, MacIntosh worked as a software engineer and a management consultant. MacIntosh earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Princeton University and a master’s in philosophy and public policy at the London School of Economics. In conjunction with his role at SeaChange, he serves as an observer on several nonprofit boards.
