Juliette Kayyem is the Belfer Senior Lecturer in International Security at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University (MA). She serves as a senior national security analyst for CNN and holds a weekly security segment on NPR’s Boston station, WGBH Radio. Previously, Kayyem served in the Obama administration as assistant secretary for intergovernmental affairs at the Department of Homeland Security. She is the author of several books including the bestseller Security Mom and, most recently, The Devil Never Sleeps: Learning to Live in an Age of Disasters (2022).
