Kerry D. Fulcher

Kerry D. Fulcher has been provost and chief academic officer at Point Loma Nazarene University (CA) since 2010. He began his career at Point Loma Nazarene in 1994 as a faculty member in the biology department and served as biology chair from 2002 to 2008. In all his roles, Fulcher has worked to develop the sciences program at Point Loma Nazarene into a nationally recognized faith-based program. His publications have appeared in journals such as Biology of Reproduction, Aquaculture, and Developmental Biology. In addition, Fulcher chaired the CIC Chief Academic Officers Task Force, has served as a coordinator of CIC’s Workshop for New Chief Academic Officers since 2016 and is the recipient of the 2023 CIC Chief Academic Officer Award.
