Tamara N. Stevenson is the vice president of diversity, equity, and inclusion and chief diversity officer at Westminster University (UT). As a practitioner-scholar, she specializes in organizational leadership and culture, strategic communication, and policy equity. She has taught for more than 25 years at institutions in Michigan, Ohio, and Utah. Prior to academia, she worked in journalism, automotive, healthcare, and education sectors. Stevenson serves on the boards of multiple organizations and has received numerous honors and awards, including the recent selection to the 2025–26 American Council on Education Fellows Program. She holds doctoral and specialist degrees in educational leadership from Eastern Michigan University, and a master’s in organizational communication and a bachelor’s in journalism from Wayne State University (MI).
