Callings Live! The NetVUE Podcast, Recorded Before a Live Audience

March 20, 2026

Join us for this unusual opportunity to be present at a live recording of the NetVUE podcast, Callings: Conversations on College, Career, and a Life Well-Lived. Erin and John will be speaking with Almeda Wright, who will also be offering the closing plenary address at the NetVUE Conference on Saturday. Their conversation will address some issues that arise from two of Professor Wright’s books, both published by Oxford University Press: Teaching to Live: Black Religion, Activist-Educators and Radical Social Change (2024)and The Spiritual Lives of Young African Americans (2017). We’ll also hear more about her own vocational journey and her advice for young people today. During this unique session, audience members will have an opportunity to submit their own questions, some of which may help to shape the final edited version of this podcast episode.
