Creating an Engaged and Inclusive Campus Environment

January 6, 2024

The 2022-23 Healthy Minds Study of over 75,000 students at more than 500 colleges and universities found that almost 70% of respondents reported feelings of loneliness or isolation. Research consistently shows that faculty, staff, and students from historically underrepresented and marginalized groups struggle even more so to feel that they belong within their campus community. In this session, we will explore the factors that can contribute to feelings of isolation and marginalization on campus and share effective strategies for creating an engaged and inclusive campus environment.
