The University of Dallas (TX) transformed its career development office and overcame budget cuts and staff reductions by means of a NetVUE Vocation across the Academy Grant. They established the UD Odyssey program, which emphasizes that vocation is where a person’s deep happiness and the world’s deep needs meet. UD Odyssey’s three main components include vocational exploration, mentoring, and community engagement. In this presentation, the presenters will discuss how the office was able to almost double student advising appointments, increase event attendees, and shift from transactional to relational interactions with students.
