Fostering Inclusive Excellence

November 3, 2024 Broadway I and II

These days it seems that academic leaders are pulled in many directions when it comes to fostering inclusive excellence. Guided by institutional mission and values and equally determined to prepare students for the realities of diverse work environments, many are committed to this work and yet face increasing pressures—from political pressure and the backlash of culture wars rhetoric, difficult (and often failed) search processes, resource constraints, and more. Join this interactive panel session where three CAOs share their thinking on strategies, lessons learned, and ways to create transformational change that is enduring. Participants will have the opportunity to listen and learn with each other as well as contribute to a real-time poll to ask difficult questions in a safe space.
