Many universities struggle to meet the psychological and emotional challenges currently faced by students. This session aims to provide participants will skills and materials to engage students in developing resiliency and improving wellbeing, with the broad goal of increasing retention. Rooted in research around trauma and resiliency, the presenter will discuss the development of #LearningWell, a mini-curriculum infused into First-Year Seminar courses that teaches students the skills they need to become more resilient. The session will focus on outcomes and will include discussion as to how these findings can be used to address resilience and wellbeing at participants’ institutions.
