Celebration of Independent Higher Education
After a day of sessions, it will be time to reconnect and enjoy each other’s company at this special event under the Texas stars at the Knibbe Ranch. Buses for the event will begin loading at 5:45 p.m. and leave promptly at 6:00 p.m. All Institute participants are invited to gather for drinks, refreshments, and conversation. -

Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE) Reception
Representatives of institutions and organizations that are members of CIC’s Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE) are invited to learn about ongoing network opportunities and to connect with leaders at other NetVUE member campuses. Refreshments will be served. -

Fundraising is a major part of most presidents’ portfolios. It frequently involves presidential spouses or partners, who often have little exposure or experience in the enterprise. In this session participants will learn from an experienced advancement professional and from spouses/partners about their role and best practices when fundraising. -
