In this session, we will learn from the wisdom and experience of partners and spouses who have navigated shocking, stressful, and daunting events during their presidencies. Hear how they dealt with these crises and how they worked with their spouses both publicly and privately. -
Caring for Aging Parents
As presidential spouses and partners, many of us are in a time of life when we must assume more responsibility for caring for our aging parents, most often from a distance, and sometimes complicated by the fact that we are also caring for children still in the home. Join us to hear from an expert with almost a decade of experience helping families with senior parents. -
Creating an Engaged and Inclusive Campus Environment
The 2022–23 Healthy Minds Study of over 75,000 students at more than 500 colleges and universities found that almost 70 percent of the respondents reported feelings of loneliness or isolation. In this session we will discuss measures that our campuses can take to make students feel more engaged and included. -
