Now is the time for colleges and universities across geographies, tuition levels, and student bodies to unite to protect the freedom to learn and teach without partisan interference, safeguard the institutional autonomy that keeps governance out of government hands, and defend the inclusive values that make a diverse environment of ideas possible, on campus and beyond. This new coalition is on the frontlines of the effort to do just that: unite higher education and play serious defense.
