Vocation in Departments and Schools of Business

March 22, 2024 Galleria 1

Are students who major in business concerned about more than just professional credentials and making money? Yes! Business majors are full human beings with the same desires for calling, meaning, and purpose as their peers. This session will explore how departments of business and undergraduate business schools are integrating vocational exploration into the fabric of their disciplines. The three presenters will discuss their current practices—including individual assignments, multi-discipline projects, and cross-curriculum development—that are designed to blend business and calling in meaningful ways for undergraduates.
