Founded in 1973, with offices in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Columbus, Ohio and Toledo, Ohio, the firm is led by six Principals who are hands-on in day-to-day project execution. The Collaborative’s services, ranging from feasibility studies and programming to architectural design and construction administration, have been recognized with more than 80 national, state and local design awards. Throughout the past twenty-five years, a majority of The Collaborative’s work has been in higher education, with a portfolio that includes more than 750 major college and university projects on 93 campuses across the country.
