Joel Malina

Joel advises Brunswick’s Foundations, Education & Global Health and Energy & Resources clients on a range of matters, including public affairs, issues and reputation management, profile raising, crisis, media relations, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to Brunswick, Joel served as vice president for university relations at Cornell University (NY). Before Cornell, he served as chief executive officer and general manager at Wexler & Walker Public Policy Associates, the former Washington, DC-based public affairs and lobbying firm, where he established himself as one of Washington’s premier coalition practitioners, managing numerous successful advocacy campaigns for clients across a variety of sectors. He is a cum laude graduate of Yale University (CT) with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
