Juliette Kayyem is the Belfer Senior Lecturer in International Security at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Kayyem serves as a national security analyst for CNN and holds a weekly security segment on NPR’s Boston station, WGBH Radio. Previously, she served in the Obama administration as assistant secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs at the Department of Homeland Security. She is the author of several books including the bestseller Security Mom and, most recently, The Devil Never Sleeps: Learning to Live in an Age of Disasters (2022).
