Raymond R. Kennelly is senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Lewis University (IL), where he leads institutional strategy, innovation, marketing and communications, and enterprise initiatives focused on sustainability and growth. He has guided major strategic efforts to strengthen financial performance, expand market position, and advance mission-centered growth, including leading Lewis University’s pursuit of the acquisition of St. Augustine College (IL) in 2023.
Kennelly has over four decades of higher education leadership experience, and has extensive experience with higher education mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, and teach-outs. He also serves as a founding architect of the emerging Indivisa Higher Education Consortium, which will promote sustainability through shared services, strategic partnerships, and collaborative innovation. He is a trustee of Blackburn College (IL) and holds a Master of Science in college student personnel services from Miami University (OH).
