Academic Leadership Through Transition

November 2, 2024 Galleria South

As the pace of presidential and cabinet-level turnover continues to accelerate across higher education, academic administrators are more frequently being called upon to navigate leadership transitions with foresight and dexterity. In these liminal times, they must nurture a culture of compassion, sustain academic rigor, and keep the campus’ focus on student success and wellbeing. This session will introduce frameworks and tools for navigating the complexities of change, and feature insights from a panel of academic leaders with rich experience in steering their institutions through periods of adversity, transformation, and transition.
