Updates and Offerings from the Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education

CIC’s Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE) is a nationwide network of over 300 colleges and universities formed to support and enrich the collegiate experience of undergraduate students as they explore and discern their many callings in life. Vocational reflection is an interdisciplinary endeavor, bringing together theological, philosophical, ethical, historical, and affective approaches; it draws on theoretical work in these fields in helping institutions develop and implement vocation-related practices—both direct programming for students and professional development for faculty members and staff. This work takes place across a variety of academic departments, pre-professional programs, and campus offices such as career services, student success centers, advising programs, offices of religious or spiritual life, and many more.
