Incentivizing, Acknowledging, and Rewarding Faculty Excellence

November 3, 2024 Galleria North

Incentives for improvement in faculty performance traditionally fit within the structures of tenure and promotion. This session focuses on an innovative model designed to motivate, acknowledge, and reward faculty excellence throughout their careers regardless of rank. The model goes beyond recognizing individual faculty achievement and strives to create a culture of continuous pedagogical improvement. Examples will be shared from three CIC institutions at differing and distinct stages in the life of this model. This session aims to provide CAOs with a framework to inspire a high-performing faculty culture.
