Free Speech and Inclusion: How College Students are Navigating Shifting Speech Norms
We will provide results from a survey of 2,618 college students recruited from across the United States that evaluates the claim that free speech has eroded on college campuses and assesses the evidence for popular explanations for this erosion. Results indicate that neither free speech nor inclusion or thriving on college campuses, and the fight over which to prioritize is paradoxically hindering both. The survey also identified two potentially conflicting worldviews, one centered on traditional liberal arts education and the other focusing on social identity and systemic power.

The Employee Value Proposition in Higher Education
The TIAA Institute Employee Value Proposition initiative aims to help the higher education sector compete for talent by deepening understanding of employees’ job choices and what they expect to gain in return for the work they do. Armed with that knowledge, institutions can create an Employee Value Proposition (EVP), a strategic tool that conveys to prospective and current employees the rewards, benefits, and attributes that make working at an institution particularly attractive.

Using Virtual Reality to Attract, Retain, and Train Today’s Connected Students
Instead of just examining a diagram on a 2-D screen, virtual reality software allows students to enter a three-dimensional world where they can manipulate images and view them from every angle. See how the University of Charleston (WV) and Perspectus VR use VR to help health sciences students study anatomy in an immersive 3-D environment.
