Join us for a rich opportunity to hear how some of our NetVUE colleagues arrived at and navigate their callings to higher education. Presenters will draw on language and themes from Miller-McLemore’s recent book, Follow Your Bliss and Other Lies About Calling as they share their stories. Presenters include Douglas Johnson, Teaching Professor in Wake Forest University School of Business; Esteban Loustaunau, Professor of Spanish at Assumption University; and Tara Brooke Watkins, Assistant Professor of Music, Theatre and Dance at Salve Regina University.

Follow Your Bliss and Other Lies About Calling is the text for the NetVUE 2025-2026 Big Read. Staff, faculty, and administrators at NetVUE institutions are invited to engage together and discuss the Big Read on their campuses.
We will gather on Wednesday, January 28th, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern (3:00 Central, 2:00 Mountain, 1:00 Pacific). The webinar is open to anyone at a NetVUE member institution at no cost, but registration is required.
Please share this information with your colleagues. We hope that you will consider using the webinar as a springboard for further campus conversations that are tailored to your own context.
