NetVUE Higher Access Institutions
Source: https://carnegieclassifications.acenet.edu/institutions/
NetVUE institutions seek to provide students with the capacity to live into their callings—and that requires not only professional preparation but also a broad liberal-arts education, preparing students for lives of meaning, purpose, and flourishing. Many NetVUE members have found ways to make these opportunities available to a wider range of students. The release of Carnegie’s new classification system calls for a celebration of the many NetVUE member institutions that have been recognized for their work in enhancing student access and outcomes.
Please join us in congratulating the 168 NetVUE institutions that are considered High Access institutions, providing greater opportunities for students than is typical for their geographic location. Of those institutions, 39 NetVUE members were designated as “Opportunity Colleges and Universities,” providing both higher access and a potential for higher earnings among graduates.
