Upcoming Event
The 2026 NetVUE Conference
The 2026 NetVUE Conference will take place March 19–21 in Kansas City! Your campus has, most likely, already registered a team; but even if you are not planning to travel to the event, you can still be a part of it. Work with your NetVUE Campus Contact to learn who will be participating from your institution, and consider developing a collaborative plan for your team to report on the event when they return to campus. In addition, in early April, NetVUE will host a webinar-style “recap” of the conference, featuring various members of the staff reporting on what they heard, saw, and learned.

If you are already a part of your campus’s team that will be travelling to the conference, you still have a little time to add a pre- or post-conference workshop to your registration. Pre- and Post-Conference Workshops include four different options this year: two (longer) pre-conference workshops and two (shorter) post-conference options. At the time of this writing, some space is still available in all four workshops; registration will remain open until February 6 or until the workshops fill, whichever comes first.
The two pre-conference workshops are Integrating Vocation into Community-Engaged Learning: From Transactional to Transformative, led by experienced members of the faculty and staff at four different NetVUE institutions, and Writing Our Vocational Narratives, led by the same NetVUE staff members who have led the network’s Writing Colloquy over the past two years. Both workshops will begin on Wednesday, March 18, at 1:00 p.m. (Central) and conclude with lunch on Thursday, March 19; the price for either pre-conference workshop is $450 and includes Wednesday dinner, Thursday breakfast and lunch, and overnight accommodation at the conference hotel.
The two post-conference workshops are Global Engagement as Vocational Journey, led by three experts on international education from three different NetVUE institutions, and Writing a Compelling NetVUE Grant Proposal, led by the NetVUE grants team. These two workshops begin on Saturday, March 21, at 1:00 p.m. (Central) and conclude at 4:00 p.m. that afternoon. The price for either post-conference workshop is $50. Some participants may wish to remain for dinner at their own expense; also, for those who need an additional night of accommodation, a limited number of rooms may be available at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel for Saturday night at the conference rate of $211 plus tax.
For more details on these pre- and post-conference workshops, visit the NetVUE Conference website and scroll down to the section headed “Pre- and Post-Conference Workshops.” If you are already registered for the conference and want to add a workshop, call the Council of Independent Colleges at (202) 466-7230 and ask for a member of the Conferences Team.
