NetVUE Webinars: Join the Conversation about the Big Read
Two upcoming NetVUE webinars will feature speakers directly addressing the 2025–2026 Big Read, Follow Your Bliss and Other Lies About Calling,by Bonnie Miller-McLemore. On November 13, at 4:00 p.m. (Eastern), a panel of faculty members will discuss integrating the book in undergraduate classes. Webinar guests will include Brian Bowman, assistant professor of communication studies at Campbell University (NC); Deirdre Egan-Ryan, professor of English at St. Norbert College (WI); Jason Mahn, professor of religion at Augustana College (IL); and Bradley Pardue, professor of history at the College of the Ozarks (MO).
Next semester, on January 28, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. (Eastern), NetVUE members can connect with Douglas Johnson, teaching professor in the school of business at Wake Forest University (NC); Esteban Loustaunau, professor of Spanish at Assumption University (MA); and Tara Brooke Watkins, assistant professor of music, theatre and dance at Salve Regina University (RI) as they share their vocational stories using the Big Read’s themes.
