CIC offers the annual Department and Division Chair Workshops to strengthen leadership at the departmental level. The workshops are designed to serve both experienced and new chairs of departments or divisions at independent colleges and universities.

This gathering focuses on the “centers” that many institutions have established as integrated spaces—combining career development, academic advising, community engagement, diversity initiatives, internships, and other vocation-related efforts. Participants will explore models and best practices for this collaborative work, as well as how to involve various constituencies in this enterprise.

The State Councils Annual Conference provides state executives and fundraising staff with a forum for face-to-face networking and an opportunity to share best practices with colleagues.

This annually held meeting brings chief academic officers of independent colleges and universities together, and includes special programming for new CAOs and CAOs in their third and fourth year. This year's Institute will be jointly held with chief financial and chief enrollment officers.

The 2022 NetVUE Conference will address the theme, “Called into Community: Vocation, Engagement, and Difference.” The goal of NetVUE is to provide a nationwide campus-supported network to foster the intellectual and theological exploration of vocation among college and university students.
