The Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) is pleased to announce the first summer seminar for full-time staff in all campus offices and divisions at colleges and universities that are members of CIC’s Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE).

The Executive Leadership Academy (ELA) is a yearlong program cosponsored by the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC), the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), and the American Academic Leadership Institute (AALI) to prepare experienced provosts and vice presidents to move to positions of greater responsibility, including presidencies.

CIC and the American Academic Leadership Institute (AALI) are pleased to announce the 2023–2024 Senior Leadership Academy (SLA), a yearlong program for administrators in higher education who aspire to cabinet-level positions in independent colleges or universities.

CIC offers the annual Department and Division Chair Workshops to strengthen leadership at the departmental level. The workshops are designed to serve both experienced and new chairs of departments or divisions at independent colleges and universities.

CIC is pleased to offer a multidisciplinary seminar, Teaching Vocational Exploration, for full-time faculty members in all fields at colleges and universities that are members of the Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE).

This gathering will introduce ideas on disciplinary vocation integration, as well as provide opportunities for faculty to workshop ideas for redesigning their own courses in conversation with experienced colleagues from other institutions.

The State Councils Annual Conference provides state executives and fundraising staff with a forum for face-to-face networking and an opportunity to share best practices with colleagues.
