Host Institution: Hope College in Holland, Michigan
Dates: This opportunity will be offered once in the spring semester 2027, for a 2-day/1-night visit. Precise dates will be set by the first institution to confirm a schedule with Hope by contacting Ryan White at white@hope.edu; subsequent applicants would then join that same visit.
Programming Focus: First Year Programming. Hope introduces every incoming student into a framework of vocational reflection, carried through orientation, the First-Year Seminar, and peer mentoring. Visiting teams will see how Hope has contextualized vocational formation for its first-year students, and consider how to do something similar in their own institutional context.
Capacity: This opportunity is open to up to three institutions, each sending a 2-3 person team.
